Service Contracts Dieselec Generators currently carry out in excess of 300 generator service visits per annum, ranging from straight forward one off inspection visits to oil/filter changes and engine overhauls. The number of visits varies depending on the usage of the machine and the clients own preference. At the end of each service a fully comprehensive report is provided. Emergency Response Team To ensure that our customers have peace of mind we offer a 24/7 emergency call-out service. Load Bank Testing As it is not always practical to test the generator load, we stock a range of resistive load banks that can be taken to the customers site to allow the generator to be load tested to the maximum output. This also reduces the build up of carbon within the cylinder heads which is recommended for machines that run on low load. Oil Sampling It has become accepted practise within the industry to replace the engine oil after every major service normally 12 months. The life expectancy of modern lubricants can now be as long as 5 years on a standby machine and it is therefore not necessary to replace on a routine basis. We offer a more environmentally friendly and cost effective solution by taking an oil sample, which is sent to an independent Laboratory, the report normally take 2/3 days and only those where adverse results are found require an oil change. Repairs & System Upgrades All types of engine and alternator repair work can be carried out by factory trained engineers. It is also common for us to carry out system upgrades including new up to date control panels and fuel tanks in compliance with new standards or even to relocate the complete generator and associated equipment to another location.
